We take our role of coming alongside our parents seriously—including the area of safety and security. All of our Children's Ministries programs are staffed by volunteers who are members of our ECPC congregation and who have completed a national background check and security clearance interview process.
All adults who serve with our children (nurseries, Gospel Kids, or youth ministry) must:
Be members of East Cobb Presbyterian Church
Complete the following Child Security forms:
Submit two references (form must be filled out by two non-family members)
Submit to a nation-wide background check
Be interviewed by our Children’s Ministries’ Director and an Elder
Please click the buttons above to fill out the first two forms. The third form (personal reference) should be sent to two non-family members (you can point them to reference.eastcobbpres.org to fill out the form). Those forms will be submitted directly to our Director of Children’s Ministries when they are filled out. Once these steps are completed, we can find a place to get you plugged in.
Children in sixth grade and up whose parents are members of ECPC may serve in Children's Ministries as teen assistants. Teen assistants will always serve alongside two adult volunteers who have completed our security process. Parents must fill out this form granting permission for their child to serve.
