Nashville Outreach Week 2019
June 2 - 7, 2018

Nashville.jpg

Senior High Life will be rotating out the beach retreat this year for a domestic outreach week! It's an opportunity to put your faith in action in an urban ministry experience that transforms lives, helps churches and communities, and honors Christ.

When? June 2 - 7/8, 2019

Where? Nashville, Tennessee (housing will be at a local church that has rooms with bunk beds)

What? We will be partnering with Center for Student Missions (CSM) and working with local ministries in the city of Nashville. We’ll visit the same ministry each morning, and a new one each afternoon. Well have dinner at a different ethnic restaurant each night. We may also do a prayer walk of the city, scavenger hunt, and a couple of powerful object lessons to learn more about urban issues.

Who? Current 9th-12th graders and those entering 9th grade in fall 2019. You can sign up for both Slovakia and Nashville trips but are not guaranteed both depending on space.

Important Dates: Accepting applications until January 22 or until space is full

Cost: $545 total trip cost. $270 out-of-pocket deposits to be paid in increments. First deposit of $40 due Nov. 11 with application. Remainder of payments are due in 2019.

Since this trip is taking the place of our Beach Retreat this year (which normally costs $350), we are asking that students make an out-of-pocket commitment that is actually cheaper for this outreach week ($270)  and raise the remaining funds ($275) through support letters and fundraising.
